Keep'em Cool!
Refrigerate at 34 degrees F. (0 degrees C). No
higher than 38 degrees. OK to "top ice." |
|
|
Display'em Cool!
Stack your artichokes on refrigerated shelves,
but not too high. For more shelf life, place
them stems-down in shaved ice.
|
|
Put'em To
Bed At Night-
For longer life. Put your artichokes back
in refrigerated storage for less shrink and better
profit - whenever they've been on an open unrefrigerated
display. |
|
 |
Spruce'em Up!
Keep your artichokes looking their best. Remove
damaged or discolored leaves. Trim stems
only once! Too much trimming dehydrates
the bud. |
|
Keep'em Moist
Keep them cool and keep the humidity at 95%.
Remember: keep cold - warmth plus water
equals decay. |
|
|
Keep Stocks Up And move
'em out with beautiful, bountiful displays. Consumers
are attracted to big displays. Low stock means "the
best are gone." |
